CONTENT MONITORING & PLATFORM SAFETY POLICY

Last Updated: July 2026

Because Men.tality operates a curated membership rather than an open sign-up app, content monitoring happens primarily at three checkpoints:

4.1 Pre-Membership Vetting (Application Stage)

  • Every applicant completes an application/intake process reviewed by Men.tality staff or affiliated matchmakers before acceptance.

  • Applications are screened for authenticity (real photo verification, consistency of stated identity, red flags of fictitious or bad-faith intent).

  • [If applicable: identity/photo verification call or video screen before full acceptance.]

4.2 Ongoing Monitoring

  • Member profiles, submitted photos, and coaching intake materials are reviewed by staff before being used in any matchmaking introduction.

  • Any content (photos, messages routed through Men.tality staff, event conduct) suspected of violating Section 1.3 (Prohibited Use) is escalated for manual human review.

  • Members and coaches can flag/report concerning behavior directly to info@datingmentality.com or designated staff.

4.3 Enforcement Actions

Upon receiving a report or identifying a violation, Men.tality will:

1. Review the reported content/behavior within [X business days].

2. Suspend the member’s access pending investigation if the report involves the prohibited categories in Section 1.3 (fictitious profile, escort solicitation, explicit content, cam/live adult content, swinger solicitation, mail-order arrangements) or any safety threat.

3. Permanently terminate membership (without refund) if the violation is confirmed.

4. Report to law enforcement where the conduct suggests trafficking, exploitation, fraud, or harm to a minor.

4.4 Zero-Tolerance Categories

The following are strictly prohibited on the platform, in any member communication facilitated by Men.tality, and at any Men.tality-branded event, with no exceptions:

  • Fictitious or impersonated profiles

  • Escort services or compensated companionship arrangements

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind

  • Cam shows or live adult performance/streaming

  • Swinger meetups or group sexual solicitation

  • Mail-order bride / international marriage brokering arrangements

4.5 Reporting Mechanism

Members may report a concern via info@datingmentality.com / [in-app or member portal report function]. Reports are confidential to the extent possible while allowing investigation.

3. Drafted, not final: Arbitration/governing law clause (Section 1.9) now has real language — AAA Consumer Rules, Los Angeles County venue, CA governing law. Still requires CA-licensed attorney sign-off before publishing — California has stricter consumer arbitration rules than most states.

4. Confirmed: Cancellation mechanism locked — self-serve toggle in account settings (Section 2.3).

5. Confirmed: Contact info (info@datingmentality.com, Los Angeles, CA, no phone line), pricing note (rates vary by tier), 30-day billing cycle.

6. Remaining open items: [X] values throughout (price-change notice window, cancellation lead time, failed-payment retry count/interval, dispute resolution response window, monitoring review turnaround) — these are operational decisions only you can make, not legal ones.

7. Once finalized, split into 4 separate linked pages on datingmentality.com (Terms, Privacy Policy, Billing Terms, Content Monitoring Policy) — processors want them independently linkable, not one long doc.
